Event Update: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As of March 11, 2020, IVANS is still planning to host our guests at the annual IVANS Connect conference, taking place in Nashville, TN on Sept. 20 – 21, 2020.   

The health and safety of our employees, customers and partners is of utmost importance. We have been and continue to be following the WHO guidelines as well as the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. What is IVANS Connect?
IVANS Connect is the industry’s only conference dedicated to advancing the industry’s exchange — connecting the digital ecosystem of insurers, MGAs, solutions providers, agencies and insureds through digital technology.

What can I expect from IVANS Connect?
Expect to share knowledge and information with peers and partners as well as acquire first-hand best practices information. IVANS Connect allows you to stay up-to-date on the latest exchange opportunities and network with experts to gain the greatest business value from your IVANS investment.

What education sessions are offered?
IVANS Connect offers unique educational sessions tailored to insurers, MGAs and solution providers. The conference offers both business and technical content addressing critical topics in insurance information exchange and connectivity among insurers, agencies and their insureds.

Who are the session presenters?
Subject-matter experts ranging from agents, insurers and agency management systems representatives, industry and association representatives, and IVANS professional staff all present during the conference.

Who should attend?
IVANS Connect is a leading industry event for insurers, MGAs and solution providers.

Can agents attend IVANS Connect?
Yes, but conference content is geared toward U.S.-based insurers. Agents looking to optimize their connections to insurers and learn about the latest in interface and digital marketing should attend this event.



What are the dates for IVANS Connect?
Sunday, September 20 – Monday, September 21, 2020.

How do I register for IVANS Connect?
You can register online from March 16 – September 18, 2020 or register onsite at the venue from September 20 – 21, 2020.

Is there a discount for registering early?
Yes. Early-Bird discounts apply through May 22, 2020. Visit the registration page to view complete registration details.

What is the deadline for registration?
Early Bird Registration is March 15 – May 22, 2020. Pre-Registration is May 23 – July 31, 2020. Regular Registration is August 1 – September 18, 2020. After September 18, registration will be accepted onsite only at the IVANS Connect venue September 20 – 21, 2020. Spouse/Guest Full Registration and Spouse/Guest Evening Events Only must be purchased in advance. These options will not be available onsite.

Can I register at IVANS Connect?
Onsite registration is available September 20 – 21, 2020. IVANS Connect-only Conference Registration for insurers, MGAs and solutions providers is $479. Full Conference (IVANS Connect and Applied Net) Registration for insurers and MGAs onsite is $1,429 for Applied Client Network members and $1,599 for non-members.

Why are there different registration fees for insurers and solutions providers?
IVANS Connect-only conference registration fees include access to all IVANS Connect sessions only. Full conference registration fees for insurers and MGAs include access to all IVANS Connect sessions and access to Applied Net programming, speakers and evening events.

What forms of payment are accepted for registration?
We accept MasterCard®, Visa® or American Express®. All balances MUST be paid in full prior to the event or you will not receive your credentials onsite.

What is included in my registration fee?
Full conference registration for insurers and MGAs includes IVANS Connect Sunday evening Welcome Reception and educational sessions, Applied Net exhibits, general sessions, published meals and evening events. IVANS Connect-only conference registration includes IVANS Connect Sunday evening Welcome Reception, IVANS Connect educational sessions and published meals.

Why can’t agency solution providers attend Applied Net?
Applied Net offers a conference track specifically for insurers. Insurers attending IVANS Connect are permitted to attend Applied Net to take advantage of these sessions. Applied Net does not offer programming specifically for agency solution providers.

What should I do when I arrive?
Visit the IVANS Connect registration desk during open hours to check in and pick up your conference materials. The registration desk will be open:
  • Sunday, September 20: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Monday, September 21: 7 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Your official conference badge is required for admittance to all IVANS Connect and Applied Net daytime and evening events. If you misplace your badge during the conference, please seek assistance at the IVANS Connect registration desk.

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations can be made online. A 10% fee will be charged for each canceled registration received on or before May 23, 2020. Cancellations received between May 23, 2020 and September 20, 2020 will receive a refund of 50%. No refunds will be given after September 20, 2020. Substitutions, however, may be made at any time. No-shows, without prior written notice, are responsible for payment in full. Applied Client Network and Applied Systems are not responsible for non-refundable airfares or change fees incurred as a result of canceled airline flights or changes imposed by the airlines due to inclement weather or scheduling changes. Hotel reservations should be canceled directly with the host resort.

What do I need to be admitted to IVANS Connect and Applied Net events?
Your official conference badge is required for admittance to all IVANS Connect and Applied Net daytime and evening events. If you misplace your badge during the conference, please seek assistance at the registration desk.


Travel, Venue and Local Interests

Which property will host the educational sessions and exhibits during IVANS Connect and Applied Net?
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is the primary location for educational sessions, exhibits and housing.

What attire is appropriate for IVANS Connect and Applied Net?
Business casual attire is appropriate for all IVANS Connect and Applied Net events.

Are there any activities outside of the conference hotel? If so, is transportation provided?
While entertainment activities for IVANS Connect and Applied Net are still being finalized, you can rest assured that for any scheduled conference activities away from the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, transportation will be provided.

If I want to extend my stay in Nashville beyond IVANS Connect, where can I get information on local attractions?
Nashville offers a variety of attractions, arts and culture, shopping, spas, golf, dining, outdoor adventures and nightlife experiences to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Visit for more information.

Are there any airlines and/or transportation discounts available?
